The American agricultural Law Association (AALA) is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to the practice and study of agricultural, food, and natural resources law. Each year, AALA hosts its Student Writing Competition, which invites students to submit original papers addressing topics within these areas of law.
Contest winners will receive:
- The opportunity to publish their paper in the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law;
- A cash award; and
- Complimentary registration to attend the 2026 Annual Symposium in Dallas, Texas.
