Join OCS for the 1L Practice Area Showcase, an evening dedicated to helping 1Ls explore legal career paths across both corporate and litigation practices. This event features two back-to-back panel sessions featuring NYU Law alumni and experienced practitioners from 12 law firms speaking on a broad range of specialties, including:
- Corporate Practices: Investment Management/Funds, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Private equity, Capital Markets, Real estate, and Venture Capital.
- Litigation Practices: White Collar, Complex Commercial Litigation, Securities, Intellectual Property Litigation, Bankruptcy Litigation, and International Arbitration.
To ensure a seamless experience and guaranteed seating, each registered student will be assigned to one room – either Greenberg Lounge or Lipton Hall — for the duration of the event. Registered students will receive a follow-up confirmation email with their room assignment prior to the event.
