Bar Prep Matching Program Information for Firm-Bound Students

Posted on

Attention firm-bound 3L students! We are pleased to offer you an easy way to support your public interest peers through PILC’s Bar Prep Matching Program. This program aims to make bar prep materials more accessible for students pursuing public interest careers.

Here’s how it works: BARBRI and Themis offer free bar prep courses to public interest students who are paired with firm-bound, private sector students. If your firm is funding your bar prep course through direct billing, you are eligible to sponsor a public interest peer for a free course through BARBRI and Themis, at no additional cost to you or your firm, and no extended contact or interaction with the matched student is required. (Note: If your firm provides funding through a stipend rather than direct billing, you are not eligible to participate in the program.)

Complete this short form to sponsor a public interest student’s bar prep course!

We hope you take this opportunity to support a fellow student’s career in public interest law. For any questions, please contact the PILC office at pilc.info@nyu.edu.
