The Norman Effman Scholarship

The New York Bar Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Norman Effman Scholarship. One scholarship of $5,000 will be awarded to a law school student who has an interest and intent to work in a rural locale representing indigent individuals who are litigants in family court, criminal court, or other courts where the individual may be facing civil legal issues. Applications are open to second year (2L) and third year (3L) law students enrolled in a law school in the State of New York.
