[First-Generation Pre-Orientation Program] Paid Student Leadership Positions — Deadline: April 23, 2025

The Office of Diversity & Inclusion is accepting applications for the below paid student leadership roles to assist the First-Generation Pre-Orientation Program (FGPOP) in the coming academic year. FGPOP is a multi-day program that supports incoming JD students who were among the first generation in their family to receive a bachelor’s degree in the transition to law school.

(1) FGPOP Student Coordinator
This year-long position will involve supporting the pre-orientation programming in August as well as working with the Diversity & Inclusion team to coordinate ongoing events and resources for 1L FGPOP participants during the fall and spring semesters. (4) FGPOP Orientation Leaders
These short-term positions will focus on assisting with the implementation of the pre-orientation in August. Orientation Leaders will support sessions and logistics, facilitate community building activities, and be a resource to new students during the orientation program. The application deadline for both roles is Wednesday, April 23. All rising 2L and 3L NYU Law students are invited to apply. Candidates must be available from August 14–18, 2025.
