About CHRGJ
The Center for Human Rights and Global Justice (CHRGJ) was established in 2002 to bring together and expand the rich array of teaching, research, clinical, internship, and publishing activities undertaken within New York University School of Law on issues of international human rights law. CHRGJ is the hub of human rights study at NYU School of Law.
Details of the Position
CHRGJ is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Research Assistant to work with the Faculty Director and Research Director on the launch of the new website. The nature of work entails
- Working on the existing content and text in the beta version of the website and revising it to reflect the vision and mission of the center and its projects.
- To work with the Faculty Director and Research Director to closely go over the beta version of the website and document the changes needed prior to the launch and to coordinate with the designer to execute these changes.
- To sort through the archival data of the center’s old website and work with different members of CHRGJ to see what is relevant and needs to migrate to the new website.
- Lastly, to upload new content onto the website and migrate the relevant older content onto the website prior to the launch.
The student worker will be paid $15/hour. Please note that if the candidate is a non-US citizen, they will need to obtain a social security number to be paid.
Preferred start date: October 5th,2022 (or earlier).
Location: The student can work remotely and will need to attend occasional meetings at NYU Law.
