Lawyering TA Applications for AY 2026-2027

Looking to sharpen your legal skills and stand out on your resume? All rising 2Ls and 3Ls are invited to apply for a Teaching Assistant position for Lawyering.

What you’ll do:
• Review assignments (focus on citations)
• Hold office hours + advise 1Ls
• Act as the client in Fall semester simulations
• Run practice moots in Spring
• Lead social events
• Teach a class or lead a workshop on a topic you choose (optional)

The first round of applications will be accepted June 1 through June 15. Click here for the application form and additional information. We anticipate adding additional application and hiring rounds as we go through the summer.

You may apply to multiple faculty members. Their profiles can be found on the Lawyering Program’s Faculty and Administration webpage.

We will have eight new faculty joining us for the next academic year. Their profiles will be available after June 1.

Lawyering TAs receive one credit per semester and should be able to attend a minimum of 1/3 of the classes. The class schedules can be found on the course schedules webpage.
