PAID CIVIL RIGHTS INTERNSHIP
The National Workrights Institute (www.workrights.org) is seeking a legal intern primarily for cutting-edge research on workplace human rights issues.
NWI is currently focused on groundbreaking empirical research concerning comparative outcomes in employment arbitration and employment litigation. Its initial 2024 report used a more sophisticated methodology than previous research in this field and challenges conventional beliefs.
Our conversations with Congressional leaders raised additional questions, which we are addressing in a new study.
We are also continuing original research into the use of criminal records in employment, especially developing a more in-depth understanding of negligent hiring liability.
The intern will be intimately involved in both of these research projects.
The starting date and hours are flexible. Work can be done remotely.
Pay is $25/hour.
