All 1Ls and 2Ls who may do a public interest summer internship and who register for summer funding are eligible to receive NYU summer funding – $6,000 for 1Ls and $8,000 for 2Ls.
Register here now! There is simply no downside to registering for funding, but if you fail to register for funding by December 1, you will not receive funding should your other plans not pan out.
You can always withdraw from the summer funding system, and this process is quick and easy. You do not need to receive financial aid to qualify for summer funding. You must register for funding for summer 2026 even if you received funding for your summer 2025 internship.
