Oct. 3: Drop-in to Meet Sam Allison-Natale ’15, Founder of Kansas Holistic Defenders

Posted on

Drop in to the PILC office anytime from 1:30pm to 3:00pm on October 3 to meet Sam Allison-Natale. Sam graduated from NYU Law in 2015 and worked at The Bronx Defenders for 3 years before moving to Lawrence, Kansas. Because there was no public defender in his county, he founded Kansas Holistic Defenders, an organization representing misdemeanor defendants and tenants in Douglas County District Court.

Kansas is poised to make tremendous gains in public defense and legal services for low-income and working-class people. It’s an important battleground in various legal arenas, including reproductive justice, criminal defense, and tenant rights. If you’re a movement-oriented public interest student, drop by to chat with Sam to learn more about his work and the different opportunities available to you in Kansas!

WHEN: October 3, 1:30pm – 3:00pm
