Ask a Librarian

Library Tours and Instructional Sessions
We will be offering tours of the Library and Instructional Sessions throughout the semester. Check out the Library’s calendar to see our upcoming programming and sign up for events.
Study Aids
The Library has subscriptions to:
- West Academic Study Aids which includes Hornbooks, Nutshells, Gilbert Law Summaries, and Blackletter Outlines, as well as guides to law school success and beyond.
- Aspen Learning Library which includes Examples & Explanations (aka the “E&Es”), Emanuel Law Outlines, Glannon Guides, Emanuel CrunchTime, and Casenote Legal Briefs.
- CALI which offers interactive lessons. Registration information is at the Reference Desk and online here.
Circulating Technology
The Library has a limited amount of technological equipment students may borrow to use in the Library. Stop by the Circulation Desk to borrow the following equipment:
- Portable Monitors
- Wireless, Noise-Canceling Headphones
- Laptop Stands
- LegalPads (keyboard extension for legal symbols)
- Book Stands
You Asked, We Listened: Sullivan Street Study Room
A few of the additions/improvements in the Sullivan Street Study Room made due to feedback in the Student Survey are:
- External monitors that you can plug your computer into
- A rolling white board
- Soft seating
- Multi-outlet power bars
Group Study Room
If you plan to study with other students, consider booking the Group Study Room in the Library. The link to reservations can be found here.
