The Center for Cybersecurity (CCS) has opened the application process to current 1L and 2L NYU Law Students for the 2025-26 Cyber Scholars program. The Cyber Scholars program is designed to help train a new generation of cybersecurity professionals for roles in either the public or private sector. Scholars will be obligated to enroll in (i) a cybersecurity or related course at the Law School and (ii) a technical cyber-security course at NYU Tandon School of Engineering that is consistent with their academic program. They will also participate in regular scholar workshop meetings focusing on cybersecurity topics and related research.
Scholars will earn a $10,000 scholarship* towards tuition for each year that they are a part of the program. Students will be admitted for one year, potentially renewable for one additional year.
Applicants should provide a resume and transcript along with a cover letter explaining their reason for seeking admission to the Cyber Scholars Program.
Applications should be submitted to CCS Operations Manager Marianna Kozak (mrk362@nyu.edu) no later than 5:00 p.m. April 18, 2025.
*Please note that students with existing full-ride scholarships, while eligible to become Cyber Scholars, are not eligible for the $10,000 stipend.
