Oct. 11: Grunin Center for Law and Social Entrepreneurship Seeks Tepper Fellows: Social Enterprise Law Research Assistants

The Grunin Center for Law and Social Entrepreneurship is seeking Tepper Fellows: Social Enterprise Law Research Assistants for the academic year 2024-2025, to begin in October. This is a paid position at $16/hr.

Roles and Responsibilities: Research Assistants will be responsible for keeping the Social Enterprise Law Tracker up to date with respect to the laws and regulations that are shaping the types of legal forms available to social enterprises in the United States. This work involves performing legal research, as well as data collection, data analysis and data entry. 

Research Assistants will develop an annual report on Mapping the State of Social Enterprise and the Law to be published in the summer of 2025.    

Research Assistants will also have a unique opportunity to be mentored by Professor Deborah Burand (faculty advisor to the Tepper Fellows), Rob Esposito (co-founder of the Social Enterprise Law Tracker and advisor to the Tepper Fellows) and Hannah Yang (former Tepper Fellow and advisor to the Tepper Fellows).                                                                                                 

Qualifications: 1L, 2L, 3L students

Approximate Dates of Employment: Full academic year commitment (2024-2025)

Approximate Number of Hours/Week: 1-2 hours a week in Fall Semester; 5-10 hours a week in Spring Semester
