The Jeannie Forrest Women in Leadership Convocation Award is awarded annually to a graduating student member of Law Women or the Women of Color Collective who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and initiative during their time at NYU School of Law. To submit a peer or self-nomination for the Jeannie Forrest Award, please email a current resume, transcript, and a short statement about the nominee’s leadership displayed while at NYU Law to womensleadership@nyu.edu. The statement should reference how the nominee has taken initiative and leveraged their leadership skills to the benefit of others (at NYU Law and/or in the broader community). Nominations will be accepted through Wednesday, March 26, at 11:59 p.m.
Note: While nominees must be a graduating student member of Law Women and/or the Women of Color Collective, any student may submit a nomination on a peer’s behalf.
