Goodwin is thrilled to invite you to participate in an exciting new opportunity: Goodwin’s Business Law: M&A Strategy & Negotiation Competition, hosted in partnership with NYU Law’s Law & Business Association. This interactive program will give you hands-on business law experience, allowing you to build confidence with real-world M&A strategy and negotiation. You will step into the shoes of practicing attorneys, working in teams to:
- Build and present a strategic acquisition plan to your client’s “board,” and
- Negotiate key deal terms in a mock transaction.
Here is how to get involved:
- Fill out the Interest Survey: Let us know if you are interested in competing and tell us a bit about your background.
- Attend the Info Session: On Thursday, March 12th from 2:45 – 3:15 PM ET where members of the Goodwin team will walk you through the case study and negotiation basics.
Timeline of the Competition:
- March 12 – Info Session & Interest Survey closes
- March 19 – Program Kickoff Session (from 3:00 – 3:30 PM ET)
- March 27 – Welcome Reception
- March 28 – Competition Day
