The 2026 Loyola Patent Law Interview Program will be held virtually on Thursday, June 4 & Friday, June 5. This nationwide interview program targets patent law employers and rising 2L and 3L students.
The 2026 Patent Law Interview Program will be accepting registrations from current 1Ls or 2Ls who are slated to graduate in 2027 or 2028. Students with undergraduate or graduate degrees in engineering or a technical science should consider registering for the program. You do not need to be patent bar eligible to register, although the vast majority of employers participating in the program are seeking patent bar eligible students.
Each year over 1,000 law students register for the program, submit their application materials, and apply for interviews with the nation-wide employers that interest them. The program is entirely employer selected – which means that participating employers review the materials submitted to them and choose the law students they are interested in interviewing at the program. Roughly half of the students registered for the program are selected for interviews each year.

There is a non-refundable $50 registration fee, which NYU Law will cover for all students. Students should pay the fee when they register and be reimbursed by OCS. Please contact Sara McDonough to process your reimbursement; please be sure to keep a copy of your registration and receipt for purposes of reimbursement.
