Class Shopping & First Class Attendance – Certain Classes Bid by 9:30am

A reminder that some classes have special attendance rules. For more details, please see https://www.law.nyu.edu/recordsandregistration/first-class-attendance

 

Closed Seminars/Colloquia/Simulations: The law school rules permit faculty to admit up to two students to closed seminars/colloquia/simulations during the first class meeting outside the regular registration procedures.

 

First Class Attendance Required (“FCA”): You should check the course descriptions of your classes regarding attendance. Some professors state that they will drop students if they miss the first class.

 

During Fall 2025 Daily Cycles #2, if you are not registered for an FCA class and want to be considered for the same, you must bid on the class by 9:30 am EST the business day BEFORE the class meets. 

 

Please bid on these classes no later than 9:30 am EST on Monday, August 25 to be considered for FCA admission.
