Dear Students,
If you are taking a course which ends in October or early November, the deadline to drop that course is the last day the class meets. Once the class has ended, you will only be permitted to drop the class with a grade of WD. If you completed graded work in a course, you can still drop the course, but you will receive a WD notation on your transcript.
To drop the class before the last class meeting, please submit a drop request to the Law Registrar’s Service Desk and copy your program office (Academic Services for JDs, Office of Graduate Affairs for LLMs, or the Graduate Tax Office for tax-LLMs).
If you are dropping a seminar, colloquium, simulation, or writing credit, please attach the instructor’s permission to your drop request.
