The NYU Office of Community Engagement is hosting a volunteer event in partnership with Afya on November 3.

Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (One-hour volunteer shifts are available throughout the event)
Location: Kimmel Center, Eisner & Lubin Auditorium (4th Floor)

Join NYU and Afya for a hands-on volunteer opportunity to make a difference in communities around the world!
Volunteers will help sort, organize, and pack essential medical supplies for distribution to under-resourced healthcare facilities and communities facing humanitarian crises.
Founded by Danielle Butin — a 2018 NYU Alumni Changemaker Award winner — Afya rescues unused medical supplies that would have otherwise been discarded and taps volunteers to expedite the sorting, packing, and delivery of essential provisions sent to areas in critical need.
