- In this webinar, a distinguished panel will discuss the importance of effective lawyer networking and interviewing skills in today’s evolving legal marketplace and share practical strategies for building professional connections, improving interviewing skills, and navigating career growth opportunities in the legal profession.
- October 15, 2026 (6:00 PM-8:00 PM) – Program and Reception For International LL.M. Candidates (In-Person)
- At this program, panelists will discuss how attorneys become involved in international practice and offer advice on effective contact-making and networking, including how participating in the City Bar can help. A reception will follow with an opportunity to meet and network with other attendees and City Bar leaders.
- October 20, 2026 (6:30 PM-8:00 PM) – Careers in Entertainment Law (Webinar)
- This program will feature experienced entertainment lawyers and legal professionals discussing their career paths and offering guidance on preparing for a career and finding a first job in entertainment law. Panelists will also join breakout rooms to answer attendees’ questions following the discussion.
- October 28, 2026 (12:30 PM-2:00 PM) – Resume and Cover Letter Tips and Tricks (Webinar)
- This program will provide recent law graduates with practical guidance on preparing flawless, thoughtfully drafted resumes and cover letters, including what public- and private-sector employers want (and do not want) to see in application materials.
- October 29, 2026 (6:00 PM-8:00 PM) – New Lawyer Reception (In-Person)
- The City Bar will host a reception for newly admitted attorneys, recent law school graduates, and mentors at the City Bar building (42 West 44th Street). Attendees will have an opportunity to celebrate their success and mingle with their peers over hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
