Dear Rising 2Ls & 3Ls,
The 2026-2027 Registration Calendar is now available. JD Ranked Bidding will begin on Monday, June 22 at 1:30 pm EST. During JD Ranked Bidding, 2Ls and 3Ls will have the option to bid on all fall and spring sections of Corporations, Constitutional Law, Professional Responsibility, and Property. Registration for other fall courses will begin on June 29.

This information is essential for a successful registration experience and academic year.
Exam Schedules: The Fall 2026 exam schedule will be posted in late June while the Spring 2027 exam schedule will be posted by early August. Please be sure to check the exam schedules to avoid any personal and/or work conflicts.
Academic Regulations & Requirements: Please use the information on the Academic Regulations, Course Requirements and Graduation Requirements webpage to ensure that you are meeting all JD degree requirements. You must complete a minimum of 83 credits to graduate. Example: For your 2L and 3L year, if you take three semesters of 13 credits and one semester of 14 credits, you will be on track to complete 83 credits. If you have questions on how to plan out your remaining semesters, please schedule an advising appointment. If you are a dual degree student with questions on academic planning, please submit a ticket to the Law Registrar’s Service Desk.

A reminder that you must be connected to NYU Wi-Fi or NYU VPN to access the COURSES website.

- June 29 at 1:30 pm EST – Fall 2026 Bidding Cycle opens
