NYC Civilian Review Board’s Administrative Prosecution Unit – 2026 Summer Legal Internship

The CCRB is an independent city agency that investigates and prosecutes complaints of police misconduct. Our APU interns work closely with attorneys on active cases and gain hands-on experience supporting trial preparation and litigation.
 
This full-time, eight-week summer internship is based in our Lower Manhattan office (four days in-person, one day remote). Intern responsibilities include legal research, drafting memoranda and motions, reviewing pleadings, organizing case materials, and attending court appearances, with potential opportunities to assist during trials.
 
Eligibility: Rising 2L and 3L law students with strong research, writing, and analytical skills and an interest in public service.
 
Compensation: Unpaid
