Dear Students,
As we prepare to implement academic accommodations for the Spring 2026 semester, we ask that you self-generate your accommodation authorization letters as soon as possible through the Moses Center for Accessibility and Inclusive Culture portal (“Moses Center”).
The Moses Center provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to request these letters through their student portal. This process must be completed every semester and for each course for which accommodations are needed. This means that if you completed this process for the fall semester, you must repeat the same process for the Spring 2026 semester.
Once you’ve self-generated your class accommodation letters, please follow this guide to create a Law Registrar’s Service Desk ticket for each course you need the classroom accommodation implemented. This step is essential to implementing any classroom accommodations. Please note that accommodations are not retroactive and only take effect once this step is completed.
Please also note that exam accommodations have a different process for implementation. Refer to our website for details.
If you need academic accommodations for the spring semester and have not met with a Moses Center disability specialist yet, you must get the process started as soon as possible by following the steps laid out on the Moses Center for Student Accessibility website.
Should you have any questions or concerns about this process, please contact the Office of Academic Services at law.acadservices@nyu.edu or call 212-998-6020.
