Virtual Spring OCI is an optional seven-week program during which a limited number of law firms, in-house counsel legal departments and public sector employers conduct 20-minute screening interviews of 1Ls and 2Ls for summer 2025 positions, and 3Ls and Tax/Itax LLMs for full-time associate positions. Students submit “bids” on a weekly basis to interview with employers of interest, interviews are scheduled by lottery via CSM/Symplicity, and interviews take place virtually via Flo Recruit.
Please note the bidding timetable for Virtual Spring OCI – you are required to request interviews with employers beginning the Friday ONE WEEK PRIOR to their scheduled interview date. Bidding will close the following Monday (or Tuesday, if Monday is a Law School holiday), one week prior to the employer’s scheduled interview date.
Bidding for Week 1 of Spring OCI currently is open on CSM. The deadline to submit bids for Week 1 employers is Wednesday, January 22 at 11:59 p.m. EST – following the Winter Recess. Continue to check CSM for the comprehensive list of employers who are interviewing.
Because this is a lottery, there is no advantage to submitting your bids early; you simply need to submit before the deadline.
