As we approach the end of the semester, the Law Library is here to support you. Please take note of the below resources and updates regarding Library services.
Thanksgiving Closures
The Library will close for Thanksgiving Break on Wednesday, November 27 at 9pm and remain closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29. The Library will open on Saturday, November 30 at 9am.
Extended Hours
Until December 20, the Library will be open from 7:30am to 2:00am (Monday through Friday) and 9:00am to 2:00am (Saturday and Sunday).
Study Aids
The library has subscriptions to a variety of study aids, including:
– West Academic Study Aids which includes Hornbooks, Nutshells, Gilbert Law Summaries, and Blackletter Outlines, as well as guides to law school success and beyond.
– Aspen Learning Library which includes Examples & Explanations (aka the “E&Es”), Emanuel Law Outlines, Glannon Guides, Emanuel CrunchTime, and Casenote Legal Briefs.
– CALI which offers interactive lessons. Registration information is at the Reference Desk.
Circulating Technology
The Library has a limited amount of technological equipment students may borrow to use in the Library. Stop by the Circulation Desk to borrow the following equipment:
– Portable Monitors
– Wireless, Noise-Canceling Headphones
– Laptop Stands
– LegalPads
– Book Stands
Stress Busters
If you need a break from finals, visit the Sullivan Street Study Room and find coloring, puzzles, origami, crafts, and other items to help you relieve some stress.
Welcome Table
Be sure to check out the welcome table when you enter the Library’s main entrance. Goodies such as candy and stress squishies are free to take.
Group Study Room
If you plan to study with other students, consider booking the Group Study Room in the Library. The link to reservations can be found here.
